Moratorium over business inspections has been extended to January 1, 2021

At the ordinary plenary session of Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 31.10.2017, one of the issues on the agenda was the amendments to the Law " Suspension of inspections in the field of entrepreneurship".

The main amendment to the Law was related to the extension of the suspension period. Thus, the term of suspension of inspections in the field of entrepreneurship has been extended until 1 January 2021.

It should be noted that, according to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Suspension of Inspections carried out in the field of Entrepreneurship” dated 20 October 2015, it was envisaged to suspend the inspections in the field of entrepreneurship for a period of two years, until 01.11.2017.
